Some days, I'm chatting on the internet, and one of us will say something that triggers a spark of creativity. I follow the thread, and it leads somewhere. Just like that, I'm seeing a world open up before me, with intricate details, smells, sounds, characters and a mood. Today, it happened during a chat about a house mate who was getting a rent discount for providing access to the terrace through his room, except he never told anyone about the discount, or about the terrace. He just took the cash and kept quiet.
