Spark Plug Socket

AKA: Long Socket, Washer Socket, Plug Remover

WARNING:

Treat spark plug sockets as special sockets and do not use them for normal tasks unless you are sure they can handle them easily. They are not reinforced like impact sockets and can split even more easily than standard sockets due to their length.

Information

Spark plug sockets are deep sockets that are able to reach over the length of a spark plug and fit securely over the hexagonal contact edge. A standard socket will not reach far enough, as the spark plug will collide with the head of the ratchet handle through the center of the socket.
