Make sure the cable you are attaching this device to is capable of carrying a current higher than that of the rated fuse, otherwise excessive current may cause the cable to melt instead of the fuse, potentially resulting in fire.

Information

A fuse holder for a single Blade Fuse.

A new fuse holder usually has a loop of cable attached.

Cut the cable loop and solder each end securely into the wiring you want to protect. Use a correctly-rated fuse and your circuit will be protected from excessive current and the fire risk it carries.
