Oil Filter Remover

AKA: Oil Wrench

WARNING:

Do not use this tool to tighten a new filter, as it will crush and destroy it.

Information

This is one of a few types of oil filter remover. Another common type uses a thin band of steel instead of a chain. This type of tool is for removal of screw-on metal filters only (as pictured below).

A screw-in metal oil filter.

Another type of oil filter design has a plastic cap that is removed with a large socket and the filter element is pulled out by hand. This tool is not for that type of filter.

"What A Guy..."

I do all the mail for Burtman and he's as sarcastic in private as he is in public. Not that I look at his mail. But one thing that struck me was how interesting he is. Could he be the most interesting guy on the whole web? Maybe... Maybe. - Mailman
