PTFE Tape

AKA: Plumbing Tape, Pipe Tape, Water Sealing Tape, Thread Seal, Thread Tape

WARNING:

Apply PTFE slowly and make sure it goes on flat. Any lumps or folds may undermine the security of the connection, leading to leaks.

Information

A thin, non-adhesive tape used for the semi-permanent sealing of joints in liquid-carrying hoses and pipes.

To apply, just unroll and wrap around the thread where two pipes join, slightly stretching the tape as you go to ensure a good seal. The shape of the thread should be completely visible through the tape and screwing the pipes together with the tape in place should feel smooth and secure. Make sure there are no bulges, folds or other uneven sections, as the tape must be completely matching the profile of the thread in order to properly seal it.

"Nice designs and interesting to understand it"

The content can be complicated but it is very interesting to me and I am learning how I can create campervan with it. Also I have fun with the humour and sillyness. Very good! - TerezaK_100
